Influenced by the tweets and blog posts that she was seeing, Sue Robins paid a visit to Duchess yesterday, and then posted this very kind review on her site:

Duchess Bake Shop is quaint and French and quite delightful.  The staff are friendly, even when I butchered every single name of everything I ordered.  Oh the macarons!  Softly chewy with a gorgeous chocolate paste inside. I also happily consumed a tomato, arugula and boccacino cheese croissant.  And the Madeleine cookies were pronounced ‘fluffy’ by my sweets expert, Ella.Run, don’t walk…
