Twyla compares Duchess to Paris

Twyla Campbell‘s “only other macaron experience was at the famed bake shop, Laduree’s, in Paris,” and so when she visited Duchess Bake Shop she knew that comparing those macarons  to our local fare would be a “tough experiment.”  She came away loving our lemon macarons, as well as the butter tarts, pumpkin pie and madeleines.  Here is an excerpt from her blog:

All I have to say is, thank you Garner and Giselle Beggs for blessing us with your craft. Macarons in Edmonton? Mon Dieux! I havent been this happy since my first macaroon experience in Paris this past summer.
