Twyla Campbell‘s “only other macaron experience was at the famed bake shop, Laduree’s, in Paris,” and so when she visited Duchess Bake Shop she knew that comparing those macarons to our local fare would be a “tough experiment.” She came away loving our lemon macarons, as well as the butter tarts, pumpkin pie and madeleines.
