Garner Beggs has just built a 1:100 scale gingerbread Notre Dame de Paris for the shop window. He did all the baking, piece cutting and pasting by hand. It is breathtaking; please come by to see it in person! More Photos via Facebook.
Wow! That is the most amazing gingerbread house I’ve ever seen. What a work of art! I can’t wait to see it in person. Will this be a Duchess tradition? ~ Jeni
Thanks everybody. Yes I hope that it will become an annual tradition doing different churches each year. And yes it does indeed still smell like gingerbread since that’s what it is!
We stopped by Duchess this weekend to pick up a few gifts. It was also a good excuse to check out Garner’s gingerbread Notre Dame cathedral in person. It is stunning, and from the photos on Facebook, even more so after dark
