Culinary Team - Pastry Chef

Bakers are responsible for ensuring all items being made from scratch are done so efficiently and with high attention to detail. Quality is of the utmost importance and all products being brought to our customers should reflect this.

We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team. In this role, you will produce and finish a variety of high-quality baked goods, including pastries, cakes, and tarts, while also assisting with daily prep work.
The ideal candidate is driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about pastry, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A strong interest in technique, commitment to cleanliness, and pride in your work are essential. At Duchess, everything is made from scratch using premium ingredients, so care, precision, and consistency are central to everything we do.

Qualifications:

Education
  • Pastry certificate from a recognized institution

OR

  • Prior experience working in a mid to high-volume bakery production, but we will train with a minimum of one year pastry experience.

  • 1 + years baking

Working Conditions & Availability:

 

  • Shifts are typically 8 hours a day, 5 days a week
  • Workload fluctuates based on season and events
  • Moderate noise level
