Duchess Provisions - Retail Shop Assistant

Provisions Assistants come from a variety of backgrounds but share a common interest and knowledge in baking and high-quality ingredients. We encourage your knowledge of pastry to be passed onto customers as you answer any questions, challenging or positive, they may encounter in their baking journey.

Duchess Bake Shop is hiring a part-time Retail Shop Assistant for our Provisions shop on 124 Street. This role focuses on thoughtful customer service, maintaining beautiful displays, stocking retail, and helping guests with product and baking questions. We're looking for someone organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely warm who enjoys a retail environment and working with quality food products.

Qualifications:

Education

Currently enrolled in high school or post-secondary education, or completion of a high school diploma (or equivalent).

Experience

Experience in a baking, or culinary profession is an asset but not required.

Working Conditions & Availability:

Must be available Saturday through Monday
Compensation: $16-$19 per hour, depending on experience
